Laura Lee Davis, RDA EF

Laura Lee has been with Dr. Yamada since the beginning of Dr. Yamada's career.  A long road well traveled.  Laura Lee is a Registered Dental Assistant with Extended Functions.  Extended Functions is an advanced degree achieved by less than 5% of dental assistants in California.  She also holds a license as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant.

Born and raised in San Diego, she received her education at Mesa College, UCLA and Irvine.  She is known for her great sense of humor and laughter.  On a personal note, Laura enjoys arts and crafts, gardening, & is an excellent cook. 

 

Tiffany Fenderson

Tiffany has been in the dental profession for almost 20 years.  She started at 13 working in her father's dental office and learning to assist him.  Trying to rebel, she received a BA in Theatre and worked on her MFA in Technical Theatre. But she could not resist the lure of the dental office.  Every summer she worked for a dentist and finally has settled down and found a home at Dr. Yamada's office.

She still occasionally rebels and works for a few theatres in town doing all sorts of backstage projects.  In the random spare time she does have, she likes to spend it traveling, going to see family and friends & knitting or crocheting.                                                

 

 Meghan Watson

Meghan has been with Dr. Yamada since 2010 and has enjoyed every second.  She has worn many hats in her previous careers including: HotelConcierge, Flight Attendant and 8th grade teacher.  She is a positive addition to the team and loves being the office "cheerleader".

Meghan is currently in pursit of her R.D.A. licence.

 

 

 

 

Geoff Shimotsu R.D.H.

Born and raised in Santa Monica, Geoff attended UCSD and earned a BS in Biochemistry/Cellular Biology.  Once he found OB he could never leave.  He has been a state lifeguard working from San Diego to Malibu since 1998.  Surfing and traveling around the world is how he spends his free time.  He attended SWC for Dental Hygiene school.  He is also known to tell a bad joke or two.

 

 

Britni Arita

Britni was born and raised in Seattle, WA, where she started in the dental industry almost 4 years ago.  She attended high school at Silverado High School in Henderson, NV and then one year at Nevada State College.  She moved back to Seattle once hew nephew was born and helped take care of him as needed.  She recently moved to San Diego and joined the Ocean Dental Care team.  She enjoys being out in the sun, spending time with friends and family, and getting to know her new city and all it has to offer!
